ADP: Accidental Destruction of Plants
Spring, it's coming again. Finally. I was almost afraid it would stay away this year... But it won't. It's coming back. Hooray! Because not only spring is coming, but also little animals such as ducks, sheep, cows, etc. And of course, flowers.
So beautiful, flowers. It's kind of a habit of my aunt to give me (and my sister) a little plant for Easter. The only problem is that I truly can't keep a plant alive. It's not an exaggeration this time. I just keep killing plants! Not on purpose, of course, but they keep dying. Once I got a little plant (which was supposed to produce some kind of weird strawberries, but honestly, I've never seen anything like that...)
I kind of forgot about that plant... So it slowly died of thirst and lack of attention.
The second plant I got was truly beautiful. The flowers were all kinds of yellow and it was growing really well. Because I remembered what I had done to my previous plant, I decided this one was definitely NOT going to die of thirst and lack of attention!
So I can tell you that it didn't happen! No, this one died a completely different way. The opposite actually. I gave it so much water, I kind of drowned it. The leaves were starting to hang down and were all sad, so I gave it more water. It became even more sad, so I gave it more water, and more, and more, and it died slow and wet, very wet.
So I just never do it the right way. When I don't spend any attention to it, it dies. When I actually spend A LOT of time on it, it dies. Not very long ago, my mother decided to give me another plant. Just for fun. I spent a lot of time taking care of that plant and I can say (and I'm actually kind of proud of it): It. Didn't. Die. Because. Of. Me. I swear! It died of old age!
You know why? My mother had bought a plant that usually only grows in deserts! So it doesn't need anything! I could've done anything and everything to it, it would've survived it all... ("It would have survived it all" is just a nicer thing to say than "It would even survive ME")
And it did, I didn't kill it... But still. The plants I get nowadays are just adopted by my sister.
She can keep her plants alive.

Indescribable
A life is lost by a single act. A life was taken by the hands of darkness and pain. A life was taken by a single bullet from a handgun. A life was taken but left behind a wave of heaviness and sorrow. Everyone that experienced this felt the pain of the single bullet but in the form of a broken heart. She felt the pain as she stood in the rain that fell heavily to the earth. The air was thick and cold. Chills ran through her body while her breath was cut short. No one stood around her yet she felt like she was being suffocated by a crowd of people. She could taste the tears that decanted from her eyes.
Her entire body hurt as the rain made he

She's leaving you
While she still can
Before you make another excuse
A new plan
Before you can harm her
In more ways than one
So you can't pierce her armour
She needs to run.
You wake up
Assess the night before
You stand up
Broken glass on the floor
Bruised knuckles aching
Fist shaped dent in the door
Realisation dawns
"Ungrateful Whore!"
She's gone
Tiptoed out last night
The only trace of her
Clothes soon to be too tight
She left you
You're grip on her torn
The unjust power you held over her
Burns there no more.
You never noticed
Too drunk to care
Were you ever sober?
Her endless nightmare
